Paper Rally: deleting your online account

This page says how to delete the account you use for Paper Rally's online play, and what is deleted with it.
How to delete it
In the game:
- Open ONLINE from the menu, then ACCOUNT, and tap DELETE ACCOUNT. (It's also in SETTINGS, as DELETE ACCOUNT.)
- Tap DELETE to confirm.
Your account is deleted at once. It can't be undone, but you can sign in again with a new account whenever you like.
What is deleted
- Your account and the name you signed in with.
- Your open challenges: they end.
- The races you're in: they count as resigned. In a race of two the other player wins; in a bigger race the others race on.
- In the games that go on, or are already over, your shots stay part of the race, but your name comes off them: it shows as "Deleted player".
Nothing about your account is kept.
Where your account is kept today
In this version of Paper Rally, online play runs on a test server inside the game itself, on your phone: your account and your games are in files on your phone only, and we never receive them. Uninstalling the game deletes them too, so if you can't open the game any more, uninstalling it deletes your account.
When online play moves to a real server, so that you can race your friends on their own phones, this page will also say how to ask us to delete your account without the game, and how long it takes, before that version of the game is out.
