TD Survivor Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
In short: TD Survivor collects no personal data and sends nothing anywhere. It works offline, has no ads, no purchases, no accounts and no analytics, and your records and settings stay on your phone (and in your phone's own backup, if you have Android's backup turned on).
Who we are
TD Survivor is made by Chaotic Phoenix, an independent game developer. You can reach us at contact@chaoticphoenix.com.
What the game keeps on your device
To remember things between games, TD Survivor saves a few files on your device:
- your settings: the volumes and the music and sound switches, which side the element chart and the shop are on, damage numbers, the first-run hints, visual effects, screen shake, the frame rate, the FPS counter, text size, flashing and high contrast,
- your records: your best runs in each mode, with the level reached, the kills, the time, whether you beat the Great Khan, and the date,
- a run you left part-way, so you can continue it the next time you open the game. It's deleted when that run ends or you start a new one.
The game never sends any of this anywhere: it doesn't use the internet at all. Uninstalling the game deletes it all, and Reset records in Settings deletes your records.
Android's backup
If you have Android's backup turned on, Android may include these files in your phone's backup to your Google account, so your records and settings come back when you reinstall the game or move to a new phone. That's Android's own backup, done by Google under its privacy policy; we never see it. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.
Contact us, the privacy policy, and Rate the game
Three buttons in Settings > About open another app:
- Contact us opens your email app with a new message to us, already filled in with the game's version and your device's model and Android version, to help us with bugs. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do, we use your email only to answer you and to fix the game, and we delete it if you ask.
- Privacy policy opens this page in your browser.
- Rate the game opens the game's page in the Google Play Store.
Things the game doesn't do
- It shows no ads and sells nothing.
- It has no accounts, and doesn't ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos.
- It doesn't ask to use your camera, microphone, location or contacts, and uses no analytics or tracking.
- We don't sell any data, and we hold none about you.
Google Play
You get TD Survivor through Google Play, which Google runs under its own privacy policy. We may see the anonymous, aggregated statistics Google Play gives every developer (such as installs and crash reports).
Children
TD Survivor is made for teens and adults, not for children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If a future version handles data differently, such as Google Play Games leaderboards, we will update this page before that version comes out, say here what it handles and why, and change the date at the top. Where the law asks for your consent, the game will ask first.
Your rights
Under data protection laws such as the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. The game collects none, so we hold none, except an email you have sent us yourself, which we delete on request. Write to contact@chaoticphoenix.com.
