SWARMCORE Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 October 2026

In short: SWARMCORE collects no personal data. It works offline, has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and doesn't even ask for internet access: your progress stays on your phone, and the game sends nothing anywhere.

Who we are

SWARMCORE is made by Chaotic Phoenix, an independent game developer. You can reach us at contact@chaoticphoenix.com.

What the game keeps on your device

To remember your progress, the game saves a file on your device with:

None of this leaves your device: the game never sends your progress, your settings or your scores anywhere, and it has no internet permission to do so. Uninstalling the game deletes it all. Resetting your progress in the game's Settings erases your progress but keeps your settings and the pack.

Android's backup

The game lets Android's own backup include its save file. If backup is on in your phone's settings, Android copies the file, encrypted, to your Google account's backup, so your progress comes back when you reinstall the game or move to a new phone. Google handles this backup under its privacy policy; we can't see it. You can turn it off in your phone's settings, under Google, Backup.

Emails you choose to send

CONTACT US in the game's Settings opens your own email app with a message to us already addressed, and the game's version and build and your phone's system and model filled in, to help us fix what went wrong. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you write to us, we use your email only to answer you and improve the game, and we delete it if you ask.

Links out of the game

PRIVACY POLICY opens this page in your browser, and RATE THE GAME opens SWARMCORE's page on Google Play. Those are run under their own policies; the game itself sends nothing when you open them.

The Xenogenesis Pack

In this version the Xenogenesis Pack is unlocked for testing, with no payment. When it becomes a one-time purchase through Google Play, Google will handle the payment and we will only learn that the purchase was made, so the game can turn the pack on. We will update this policy before that version is released.

Permissions

The game asks Android for permission to vibrate your phone, for a buzz when you're hurt, when you die and when you mutate. You can turn vibration off in the game. It asks for no other permission.

Things the game doesn't do

Google Play

You get SWARMCORE through Google Play, which Google runs under its own privacy policy. We may see the anonymous, aggregated statistics Google Play gives every developer, such as installs and crash reports.

Changes to the game

If a future version adds something that handles data, such as Google Play Games leaderboards and achievements, we will update this policy before that version is released, change the date at the top and say here what it handles and why. Where the law asks for your consent, the game will ask first.

Children

SWARMCORE is meant for players aged 13 and over. It collects no personal data from anyone.

Your rights

Under data protection laws such as the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. The game collects none, so we hold none, except an email you have sent us yourself, which we delete on request. Write to contact@chaoticphoenix.com.
